Our new Bola bowling machine has arrived at Keilor Park
The machine was used for the first time at men’s senior training last Thursday night (14-11-2019) and the players were able to face in excess of seventy balls each. This would not have been possible without the help of our Bola Machine.
We extended its use to our Women’s Team on Monday night and it was regarded as a huge success by the girls. We will be introducing it to the junior teams in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out folks!
This is a great result for the club and will assist in further developing our playing groups.
We at KPCC would like to thank Bola for their assistance, as well as our generous sponsors, “Domain Builders“, “Ascot Bin Hire” and “Cricket Australia -The Grass Roots Cricket Fund Team”
2019-20 Victorian Male U19 Academy
Country & Metro Final Squads announced
Congratulations and Good Luck to Keilor Park Grown – Angus Price
Cricket Victoria has today announced the final 14-player Country and Metro squads that will represent Victoria at the Cricket Australia U19 National Championships, to be held in Perth.
In addition to these Victorian squads, Bailey Moon (Vic Metro) and Liam Blackford (Vic Country) will represent CA XI at the tournament, and Jai Elcock (Vic Country) will represent Northern Territory, totalling 31 Victorian players.
In preparation for the National tournament, each squad has undertaken pre-season activities both at the CitiPower Centre in St Kilda and across regional ‘Cricket Area’ sessions, as well as playing club cricket throughout October and U19 trial matches last Sunday.
The pre-season program covered a wide range of disciplines, including skills, scenario focuses, strength and conditioning, nutrition and sports psychology workshops.
The squads will now complete tournament-build preparations throughout November, before departing for Perth on Saturday 30 November.
The CA U19 National Championships will run from Monday 2 December to Thursday 12 December 2019.
Follow live score updates on the MyCricket App or the CA National Championships website.
